Don't you love it when you write a really long, meaningful post in which you actually had something worth saying about your life and your future and such and then you stupidly hit the "Send IM Greeting" button on IM instead of the "Insert Smiley" button and it takes you to another page and when you hit the "Back" button to come back to Blogger, you find that your whole post it gone??? Yeah, me too.
On a side note, my room is overflowing with mail from colleges. And I find it very funny that colleges spend a year and a half wooing you--sending you mail, sending you emails, sending you free stuff, begging you to look at them, waiving application fees for verious reasons, etc, and then, all of a sudden, after you've been wooed for that long, the tables turn and you have to woo them as best you can and as fast as you can, before a couple hundred other kids do. And isn't it ironic...and yeah, obviously it is ironic, or she stinkin' wouldn't be saying it! I mean, gosh flippin' darn! =)

Yeah, so for some reason, my blogs don't seem to be showing up. But that's ok, I don't even think anyone (besides Wendy, I guess), reads this anyway. So to heck with it. Not really though. Just pretend.
So I went to see How to Lose A Guy in 10 Days today. Ummm, I don't know what to say. I mean, obviously, Matthew McConaughey is totally swoon-worthy. And Kate Hudson was adorable. But, once again, it's a chick flick and had the normal chick flick effect on me. As in "That's so sweet, why can't that be me...but why the flickin' crap would you want that?!?". Ahh yes, I'm a strange one, I am.
Yeah, so my audition is definitely a week from tomorrow. I'm gonna die. I swear. I'm going to fall over dead. After I cut off my ears, for fear of hearing the worthless crap that will be coming from my viola. I've never felt so insecure and stupid in my life. I mean, God's taunting me. Not really, cause God doesn't taunt. But the state is taunting me. They know that I've wanted to go to Governor's School for like half my life. Ok, 6 years, but still. Close enough. So anyway, they know that I've wanted to go for 6 years, and that going for viola is my dream (yeah, guitar would be better, but they don't have it, so viola it is). They know all this and they're getting me soooo close to getting it and then they're gonna rip it away at the last minute. I don't have the slightest chance at making it. They're gonna take one look at me and laugh their frickin' asses off. And that's all I have to say about that.

It's SNOWING!!! YAY!!!!!!!! Anywhoo, for the first time in a looooong time, I took a nap today. I've been sooo tired lately, for some inexplainable reason. So, I got home, set my alarm and crawled into bed for 30 minutes. I didn't think I'd be able to really sleep, but I hit the pillow and BAM! I didn't just sleep, I slept! Score for that!
I'm absolutely loving the new Caedmon's record. Except for the 2 songs with stupid beginnings, that is. Ironically, my two favorites so far are "Walk With Me" and "The High Countries". I'm not a big fan of Danielle, but there we go, my two favorites! Actually, I think it's more because they're Sandra songs. Maybe that's why I like them. Anywhoo, if you don't have the cd, you need to go spend the $14 to get one! And while you're at it, pre-order Derek Webb's She Must and Shall Go Free and Andrew Peterson's Love and Thunder!!! You'll love all three! I promise!
