And this is officially my last post before leaving tomorrow morning. Am I sad? Yes. But I'll be ok. It'll be fun. And I think I'll be too busy to be sad for long. I won't get my number 'til I after I get there, and it could be a day or two before I actually get phone service. Otherwise, I'd post my number here so y'all can call me. In other news, my lilies bloomed. Well, not my lilies, but the ones that grow on the side of the dirt road that I love so much. It's one of my favorite things about summer (as listed on 4/17/03). Picking them was the one thing I really really wanted to do before I left. And I wasn't sure they'd be in bloom yet. But, sure enough, as I came up the hill and around the bend yesterday, the whole right side was in full bloom. And I was very happy. So I stopped on my way home from Costco this evening and picked some. I love them dearly. That is all. Except for the fact that Anna and I are constitutional geniuses and my car is now officially named Elsie, which is derived from Eleanor.
